Villa Alvor Reserva White

The night harvest preserves the flavours of the Verdelho (85%) and Sauvignon Blanc (15%) varieties. After a short skin maceration, the grapes are pressed at low pressure. The Verdelho ferments in stainless steel and part is aged in barrels for 4 months. The Sauvignon Blanc ferments and ages in 500 litre barrels. Weekly bâtonnage adds texture and complexity. The final blend is stabilised one month before bottling.

Colour: pale lime green, clear and bright. Aroma: good aromatic intensity with floral notes and slight hints of tropical fruit. The well-integrated wood adds light toasty aromas that give it complexity. Flavour: in the mouth, it has a good structure and a subtle touch of wood, giving it elegance and harmony. It ends with a long, fresh finish.

Perfect with seafood dishes such as grilled fish. Seafood and fresh salads with, for example, salmon or burrata.
